FIORITO
Own Quarry
Fiorite is a classic granite formed by quartz, feldspar and plagioclase crystals, as well as biotite, microline and oligoclase. It has some varied sizes of nuts, ranging from 0.25mm to 2.70mm resulting from edge recrystallization of the phenocrysts. Due to its hardness and resistance it can be used both indoors and outdoors, it is widely used with flamed treatment becoming non-skid on surfaces around swimming pools, bathrooms or stairs. Its quarry is located in Medina, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
